Alpha and Omega IV: The Enemies’ Revenge

Chapter 1:

          January 12, 2015, the wolf species are nearly extinct, due to some more poachers hunting and selling wolves.  There are very few packs left in the world.  They will soon be targeted for extinction.  Soon, we find two humans, locked up in a jail cell, in a lab room, carefully locked up where no one can see them.  There were three scientists, taking out a strange mixture of elements out of a huge safe.  The area was a top secret area from the U.S. government.

“So,” said the first scientist, “Ben and Tavixer, any last requests, before we inject this mixture into your body?”  Ben looked over at Tavixer and he looked back at the scientist.

“Yes, we apologize for the last time for that crime that we mistakenly committed,” said Ben.

“It’s not your fault that you accidentally killed the president of the United States,” said the second scientist, “But the law is the law, it can’t be undone.  There is some hope for you.  What you are about to do will change history in Mother Nature.”

“It doesn’t matter,” said Tavixer, “We already have our sentence.  Just start it already.”  The three scientists nodded their heads.  They unlocked the cage and tied the two men onto the two tables.  They then injected the strange mixture into Ben and Tavixer’s bodies.  The two men then fell unconscious.

“Alright boys,” said one of the scientists, “Let’s implant these devices into their bodies and take them to Jasper Park, Canada.”  The three scientists then performed a surgery and placed them into two cages after they were done.  The two cages were then taken to a plane, heavily secured by guards, sent from the U.S. government.

Chapter 2:

          Meanwhile, back at Jasper Park, Zuki and Christina are now in their teenage years.  Kate and Humphrey don’t watch over them as much anymore, but they still love each other, the same way they did three years ago.  The pack in Jasper Park is one of the very few packs left in the world.  Soon, we find Zuki and Christina hunting down some caribou.

“Psst!  Christina!  Come over here!” whispered Zuki.

“Okay, I’m over here, what’s the plan?” whispered Christina.

“You sneak up from behind that caribou and when you scare it, I’ll make the attack,” whispered Zuki.  Christina nodded her head and starts to stalk the caribou.  She follows what Zuki had said and their planned was successful.  They both then dragged the caribou up the hill and into their den.  Kate and Humphrey are in the den discussing about some stuff.  Soon, they both saw Zuki and Christina dragging the caribou back to the den.

“Oh,” exclaimed Kate, “Here you two let me help.”  She ran down the hill and helped drag the caribou.  Humphrey then hops in and helps them.  At this time, everyone at the pack was happy especially for tonight.

          Meanwhile, the plane, sent from the U.S., landed in Jasper Park at night.  The scientists then carried the two cages into the dark woods.  The sound had the sound of wolves howling in the night sky, the stars were showing and the moon was brighter than ever.  The scientists then opened the cage and woke up Ben and Tavixer.

“Hey you guys get up,” said the first scientist.

“Huh?” said Tavixer confusingly, “Where are we?”

“You’re in Jasper Park, Canada,” said the second scientist.

“Why are we here?” asked Ben.

“Your questions will be answered in a moment, but first, we need to go back to the plane to get some supplies,” said the third scientist, “I’ll keep watch of you guys.”  The two scientists went back to the plane while the third scientist watched both of them.  He possessed a gun, just in case if Ben and Tavixer attempted to escape.

“Hey both of you,” said the scientist, “In the mean time, let’s go for a walk.”

“Why,” asked Ben.

“Oh, just for fun that’s all.  It’s going to take a while for us to get the supplies ready,” said the scientist.  Ben, Tavixer, and the scientist walked through the woods for fifteen minutes.  They soon reached an area where they can see the full moon clear in the sky.  The three of them stopped walking.

“Huh?” said Tavixer, “Why did we stop?”  But as he looked behind him, they noticed that the scientist was gone.

“Why were we ditched?” said Ben.

“I don’t know, but I have a feeling something big is going to happen,” said Tavixer.  All of a sudden, they grew hot.  They started to sweat a lot and the moon’s light got even brighter.  The two started to grunt and fall on all fours.  They soon can hear all sorts of noises from miles away and scents that are hard to smell.  They looked up at the moon and all of sudden, when they looked at each other; they both saw that they had fangs.  Their other teeth started to form something more inhuman, something canine.  They also noticed at each other that they grew a tail.  As Tavixer stood up, he took off his coat and his shirt.  When he revealed his chest, he noticed that his body started to get covered in grey and black fur.  When he looked at his hands, the bones in his body started to shape shift.  His hands started to look like paws.  He looked at his palms and found black pads forming.  The same thing was starting to happen to Ben.  When Ben looked at his arm, he noticed brown fur traveling up to his body.  Their lips turned black.  As Ben stood up, both of their knees bent backwards.  Their joints locked, making it harder for both of them to stand straight up.  Soon, their bodies were completely covered with fur.  As they took off all of their clothes, they noticed that their feet were turning into paws.  They both tried to talk, but only animalistic cries came out of their human vocal chords.  Their spines then shifted into a position that forced them on all fours.  Their tongues lengthened and it rolled out of their mouths.  They started to pant for air.  Their ears turned pointy and it traveled onto the top of their head.  The two then looked at each other and looked away.  Their noses started to turn black and leathery.  After that, they felt as if the transformation had stopped.  But no, a new pain came to them.  Their mouth and noses started to push out little by little, forming a muzzle.  The two started to make wolf cries as this was happening.  Soon, they have their very own muzzle.  The two then lifted their heads up towards the sky to the full moon and mournfully howled.

Chapter 3:

          After Ben and Tavixer’s transformation was complete, the three scientists came out of the bushes and started to cheer.  The two new wolves looked at them and snarled.  The two scientists had a headphone set and a mini microphone attached to it.

“Congratulations boys,” said one of the scientists, “You two are the first people to transform into wolves.”  Ben and Tavixer both looked at each other in confusion.

“You two can talk to us,” said the second scientist.

“What are you talking about?” said Ben.  He then was in shock.

“How in the world…” said Tavixer.

“Look you two;” said another scientist, “You can only talk to us and to the wolves.  When you talk to the wolves, it will be like clear English in your head.  Come closer over here.”  The two wolves then walked closer to the scientists.

“Okay, the reason why you two were transformed is because that you need to save these wolves from the poachers.  There were some rumors about a group of wolves stopping these poachers.  These poachers are very dangerous to humans, but to wolves, it seems easy.  That’s why we need you two to help us.  Look, help us and the U.S. will give your freedom back,” said one of the scientists.

“Why didn’t you transform anyone else?” asked Tavixer.

“We found the formula the day you two were put in jail.  We were afraid to use it on other people, so that’s why we used you two.  We created a formula to transform you two back to humans,” said another scientist, “If you help us, not only will you serve for your country, but you will also save one of Mother Nature’s precious creatures.

“Okay,” said Ben, “We’ll help you.”

“Okay then, here’s the plan,” said one of the scientists, “You two need to find these two wolves that live here in Jasper Park.”  He knelt down and shown the two wolves the picture.  The picture shown had two wolves hugging each other in midair.

“Hey,” said Tavixer, “I recognize those two wolves.  I’ve seen them back five years ago.”

“That’s cool, anyways,” said another one of the scientists, “Here’s their scent.”  The scientist knelt down as well and gave them a sample of their scent.  The two wolves sniffed it.

“Wait a minute,” said Tavixer, “These two wolves were here recently.”

“Good,” said one of the scientists, “Now, your mission is to find these two wolves, and protect their family from the poachers.  They have a son that seems to have super-natural powers.  We discovered that he was targeted from the poachers.  One of you two protects them while another other one of you attacks the poachers.  You two nearly have the same super-natural powers as they do.  You will find out on your own.  Now, if you think you two can run, think again.  We have a special device that keeps track of where you guys are.  Remember the plan.  Protect that family of wolves until we get help to defend the wolves and launch an assault on the poachers.  Good luck.”  The three scientists leave and dashes towards the plane.  The plane then takes off, leaving the two wolves alone.

Chapter 4:

          Meanwhile, back at Jasper Park, Kate woke up hearing a howl somewhere out in the distance.  The four wolves were chatting in the den when Kate decided to sleep earlier.

“Hey Kate,” said Humphrey, “Let’s go to Howling Rock.”

“Okay, for what purpose?” asked Kate.

“Oh, just for fun, that’s all,” said Humphrey.

“Okay,” said Kate.  The four wolves then walked to howling rock.  While they are walking, Kate’s head was lowered down.

“What’s wrong mom?” asked Zuki.

“Oh, I’ve wanted to ask you,” said Kate, “What’s it like having your grandfather inside you?”

“It’s kind of weird and awkward,” said Zuki.

“What are you two talking about?” asked Humphrey as they walked up the hill.

“Oh, we’re talking about my father, sweetie,” said Kate.  The four wolves walked up to the top of howling rock and saw the full moon.  The four wolves then howled as a family towards the sky.  Soon, they heard some noises downhill.

“What was that?” said Christina.

“Let me check,” said Humphrey.  He walked down the hill saw a shiny long tube hiding in the bushes.

“Oh no,” thought Humphrey.  “RUN!” yelled Humphrey.  He ran up the hill quickly.  There were poachers hiding beneath the bushes.  They ran up the hill, chasing Humphrey, but then something knocked one of the poachers down.  Everyone stopped moving for a moment.  Soon, there was a roar sound.  There was a tail that slashed the three other poachers.  It knocked them down to the ground.  Soon, the moon light revealed two wolves jumping out of the dark in front of Humphrey and his family.

“We will protect you, now get out of here!” said Ben.  Kate, Humphrey, Zuki, and Christina ran down the hill and into the dense forest.

“What the?” said one of the poachers, “Who could these two new wolves be?”  The two wolves then used their tails again and whipped all four poachers’ legs, making them scared and limping their way to safety.

“Hey, nice job, old buddy,” said Tavixer.

“Eh, it was a piece of cake,” said Ben, “I just want to complete our mission so that we can be humans again.”

“Yeah, me too,” said Tavixer.  Soon, Kate’s family walks out of the forest and looks up at howling rock.

“Who are those two wolves?” asked Kate.

“I have no idea sweetie,” said Humphrey, “Wait here.  I’ll go up to them and ask them a few questions.”  Humphrey then ran up the hill to Ben and Tavixer.

“Who are you two?” asked Humphrey.

“I’m Ben,” said Ben.

“I’m Tavixer,” said Tavixer, “I recognize, you.  You’re that wolf that was hugging a girl wolf in midair.”

“How did you know that?” asked Humphrey, “No matters, come with me to my family’s den.”  Ben and Tavixer followed Humphrey down the hill.  As they arrived to Kate, Zuki, and Christina, Kate starts to ask some questions.

“Humphrey,” said Kate, “Who are these wolves and why are they here?”

“They are Ben and Tavixer.  I don’t know why they are here,” said Humphrey, “Let’s ask them.”  Kate walked up in front of Ben and Tavixer.

“Why are you two here?” asked Kate.

“We are here to protect you,” said Ben.

“Which pack did you come from?” asked Humphrey.

“Um…” said Tavixer, “We never came from a pack.”

“Oh, so are you two lone wolves then?” asked Kate.

“Actually,” said Tavixer in an uncomfortable voice, “We both were originally humans.”  Kate and Humphrey were in shock.

“Wait, how?” asked Humphrey.

“Well,” said Ben, “Long story short, we were sent by humans.  They transformed us to talk to you guys and to protect you guys because of your son, Zuki.”

“Huh?” said Zuki.  Tavixer then walked over to Zuki.

“Zuki, the poachers are hunting after you.  Ben and I are here to protect you and your family,” said Tavixer.

“Why Zuki?” asked Kate suspiciously.

“Well,” said Ben, “Zuki has super-natural powers.  All what we know is that scientists found some sort of bright light in the middle of Jasper Park.  They searched for the light and what they found was Zuki whipping another wolf.”

“Please, trust us,” said Tavixer.  Kate and Humphrey thought over it for a moment.

“Prove it first to us,” said Humphrey.  His tail was clinging on to Kate’s tail.  Ben and Tavixer took Kate, Humphrey, Zuki, and Christina over to the area where they had transformed.  They both brought the remains of their clothes over to Kate and Humphrey.

“Go ahead,” said Ben, “You will find that these scents match ours.”  Kate and Humphrey sniffed their scents and sniffed at the clothes.

“It’s a match,” said Kate, “Alright you two, if you want to help us, you must learn our wolf culture.”  “Oh great,” thought Ben, “More of this wolf stuff.  I just want to be human again.”

“Okay, we agree,” said Tavixer.

“Okay, but first,” said Kate, “We need to bite your necks.”

“Bite our what?” said Ben.

“Just leave your neck vulnerable and let me bite it,” said Kate.

“Don’t worry,” said Tavixer, “This is how to get into a pack and we need to do that.”

“Okay,” said Ben.  He left his neck vulnerable.  Soon, Kate bit down onto his neck and held it there for a few seconds, and slowly let go.

“Okay, Tavixer, you’re next,” said Kate.

“Okay,” said Tavixer.  She did the same to Tavixer.

“Alright you two,” said Kate, “Come with us.”  The wolves then walked towards to the area full of wolves.  The pack stared at Ben and Tavixer.

“Uh, hi,” said Ben.  Just then, Tavixer accidentally stepped on one of the wolves’ tail.  The wolf yelped and snarled at Tavixer.

“Sorry,” said Tavixer.  They then walked up a hill to where Kate, Humphrey, Zuki, and Christina are.  Kate then gave an announcement.

“Okay everyone,” said Kate, “We have two new wolves that had recently joined the pack.  Well, this may sound a bit crazy, but…”  She paused for a moment and looked at the two wolves.  “You two want to say it?” asked Kate.  “Okay sure,” said Ben.

“Well, to tell you the truth everyone,” said Ben.

“We both…were originally humans,” said Tavixer.  The pack then stared at them strangely.

“Here’s proof,” said Humphrey.  Zuki and Christina brought up the ripped clothes up the hill.  “The scents on these clothes match these two wolves,” said Humphrey.  The pack was in shock.  “Now,” said Kate, “If any of you see these two, just leave them alone.”  She then dismissed the pack.  “Alright you two,” said Kate, “We will begin tomorrow.  Get some rest.”  Ben and Tavixer walked over to a tree and slept under it.  Soon, the whole pack fell asleep.

Chapter 5:

          The next day, the wolves in Jasper Park woke up from their sleep.  Ben and Tavixer are still asleep under their tree.  Soon, Tavixer wakes up.

“Ahh!” yawned Tavixer, “Time to go to work, I guess.”  But as soon as he is fully awake, he looks all over his body and finds himself still in wolf form.  “Oh, that’s right,” thought Tavixer, “Today is our second day as a wolf.”  Ben then wakes up.

“Hey Tavixer,” yawned Ben, “How are you feeling?”

“Not the best of myself, but I’m okay,” said Tavixer.  They then walked up the hill to Kate’s den.  Humphrey is guarding the gate with his children.

“Oh, hey you two,” said Humphrey, “Good morning.  Come with me.”  He then led the two wolves to the vast hills.  Kate sits on the hills, hearing howls from other wolves in Jasper Park.  The five wolves then meet up with Kate.  Humphrey then talks to her.

“Hey Kate,” said Humphrey in a happy mood.

“Hey Humphrey,” said Kate happily, “I guess we’re ready to teach them.”

“Yeah,” said Humphrey.  He then called Ben and Tavixer to come and sit with Kate and him.  As they sat down next to them, Kate starts talking to them.

“You know you two,” said Kate, “We wolves use our senses to the fullest.  The first thing to do today is to howl.  If you’re in trouble, howl then.  It’s essential.”  Just then, the four wolves heard Zuki and Christina growling.  Humphrey then walked over to them.

“Zuki, Christina,” said Humphrey, “What are you two growling about?”  Ben and Tavixer then stood up at that point.  All six wolves heard something that seems to be stalking them.

“Oh no,” thought Tavixer.  “Ben,” he said.

“Yeah?” said Ben while being alert.

“It’s more poachers,” said Tavixer.  They saw ten poachers with rifles coming out of the bushes.

“Honey, you should leave now,” said Humphrey to Kate.

“No,” responded Kate, “I’m going to face this with you.”

“But, Kate,” said Humphrey startled, “I don’t want to lose you again.”  Soon, Ben and Tavixer ran over to Kate and Humphrey.

“You two better leave,” said Ben, “We’ll take care of them.”  Kate and Humphrey nodded their heads.  As soon as Humphrey calls for Zuki and Christina, Zuki starts to growl back at the poachers.  The poachers started to make an approach to Zuki.  Soon, Zuki had his head back and lifted it towards the sky, while making a loud growl sound.

“Hold on a second,” though Tavixer.  He then dashed over to Zuki and did the same thing.  He too created a loud roar.  After that, Ben dashed over and joined with them.  The loud growls and barks traveled through the woods, making the trees sway side to side a little bit.  This caused most of the poachers to run.  But one of them didn’t give up.  He loaded the rifle, which created a clicking sound.  Zuki, Ben, and Tavixer heard this sound and turned their heads around.  They soon realize the poacher is about to shoot Kate.

“Kate, NO!” yelled Humphrey.  He then dashed his way to Kate.  Soon, the poacher pulled the trigger, which created some white smoke.  When the smoke cleared up, neither Kate, nor Humphrey was hurt.

“Huh?” thought Kate confusingly, “How am I fine?”  She then looked in front and was shocked.  Ben had received the bullet to the leg.  Kate and Humphrey dashed towards Ben.

“Ben,” said Kate, “You didn’t have to do that.”

“My mission…is to…protect…you…and your family,” said Ben, struggling to talk to Kate and Humphrey.  At this time, Zuki and Tavixer scared the poacher away by chasing him off into the dense forest.  They then ran up to Kate and Humphrey.  Christina, who was hiding in the bushes the whole time, ran to her parents.  The wolves circled Ben.

“Ben,” said Tavixer, “Hang in there.  I’ll go get some help.”  But just as he said that, there was a yellow glow where the wound was.  The wound then patched itself up, and healed in a matter of seconds.

“How...” said Christina.

“How did that happen?” asked Humphrey.  He then helped Ben get back on to his feet.

“I don’t know,” responded Ben, “But I think I have a theory.  The scientists that had sent us here gave us these wolf bodies.  These wolf bodies are almost identical to Zuki’s body.  I think we also have the same effect for healing.”

“That might be so,” said Kate.  She then walked over to Ben and Tavixer and smiled.

“Thank you two for saving my family,” said Kate.  She then walked away with Humphrey and the kids back to the den.  Ben and Tavixer followed.

Chapter 6:

          It was the afternoon.  Ben and Tavixer followed Kate, Humphrey, Zuki, and Christina to their den.  At that time, a couple female alpha wolves crossed their path.  They were talking to each other and laughing.

“Hey Ben,” said Tavixer, “In the mean time, why don’t we impress some girls?  It’s a challenge and also, we have time.”  Ben thought about that for a moment.

“Okay, let’s do it,” said Ben with a grin.

“Okay,” said Tavixer with a wink.  When the next group of alpha girls came, Ben came in front of them.

“Hello ladies, how’s the afternoon going for you?” said Ben in his groovy voice.

“Uh, fine,” said one of the girls giggling at his voice.

“What’s your name?” asked Ben.

“Oh, my name is Sarah,” said the alpha girl.

“My name is Ben.  Want to have a private conversation?  You know, just you and me talking about some stuff,” asked Ben giving a playful wink.

“Sure,” said Sarah, “Hey girls, I’ll be back soon.”  Her friends said ok and bye to her and left her with Ben.  Meanwhile, Tavixer wanders around the area and finds a female omega hurt and whimpering.  He walks over to her and asks her a couple of questions.

“Uh, are you okay?” asked Tavixer, “You don’t look so well.”

“I’m not, said the omega wolf painfully, “There’s a splinter in my leg.”

“Don’t move,” said Tavixer.  He examined the wound and pulled out the splinter of wood with his teeth.  The omega wolf felt some pain at first, but then finds out that she’s okay.

“Thank you,” she said shyly, “I’m Katherine.”

“I’m Tavixer,” said Tavixer, “Nice meeting you.”  The sun then rose up over the trees.  The sun’s rays gleamed over Katherine’s white fur and over Tavixer’s grey fur.

“Um, hey, want to go for a walk?” asked Tavixer.

“Sure,” giggled Katherine.  As soon as they started to walk, they find Humphrey.

“Hey Tavixer,” said Humphrey playfully, “I see you have a new friend.”

“Yeah,” said Tavixer, “We’re going for a walk.”

“Oh okay, I’ll leave you two alone then,” said Humphrey.

“Thank you, Humphrey,” said Katherine.  Humphrey then left the two wolves alone.

“Heh,” thought Humphrey, “I have a feeling they are going to become mates soon.”  He then ran off to see his omega friends.

Chapter 7:

          As night comes to Jasper Park, Ben was about to wrap up his conversation with Sarah.  Sarah was laughing all the way because Ben described how much of a nut case he was back as a human and how silly he was.  Even Ben had a few laughs when Sarah talked about her funny moments.  Soon, the two wolves meet Tavixer and Katherine.

“Hey buddy,” said Ben, “How’s it going?”

“Fine,” replied Tavixer.

“Oh, hey Ben?” said Sarah.

“Yes?” said Ben.

“I have to go,” she said, “I need to go back to my den.  Want to come?”  She then gave a playful wink.

“Uh, sure!” said Ben excitedly.

The two wolves left Tavixer and Katherine, giving both of them the chance to talk now.

“So, uh, how should I start this conversation?” said Tavixer shyly.

“Here’s how,” said Katherine.  She then nuzzled Tavixer’s cheek.  Tavixer’s cheek then blushed.

“That’s for helping me earlier today,” said Katherine with a smile.  Instinctually, Tavixer softly nuzzled back.

“How in the world did I do that?” thought Tavixer.  Katherine giggled with delight.

“I’ve heard that you need to work on being part of the pack.  I suppose I can help you with your howl.  Let’s hear it,” said Katherine.  Tavixer then lowered his head.

“Um, I don’t know how to,” said Tavixer shyly.

“Here, it’s easy.  It’s like this,” said Katherine.  She started to make a low howl and gradually make it grow louder and louder.  As she did, she howled a beautiful solo towards the night sky.  She then continued her solo.  Tavixer then listened for a while and soon joined in.  He didn’t sound great for the first few notes, but then, he howled romantically.  Katherine then paused for a moment and listened to his howl.

“Hold on a second,” though Katherine, “I haven’t heard a perfect howl that matched mine.”  She then continued to howl with Tavixer.  Both of their heads are lifted up towards the night sky making a beautiful sound through the forests of Jasper Park.

          Meanwhile, Ben and Sarah are both walking.  Soon, they heard two howls that surprisingly matched with each other.  Sarah then stopped walking and started to howl to the distant howls.  Ben stopped walking and starts to watch Sarah howl.

“Wow, I never knew that wolves howl so beautifully,” though Ben.  Sarah then stopped howling and looks over to Ben.

“Hey Ben, why don’t you join me?” asked Sarah.

“Oh, um, I never howled before in my life,” said Ben, “especially as a human.”

“Howling is easy.  Here, just follow my lead.  Take a deep breath and howl from right here,” said Sarah.  She placed her paw on Ben’s left side of his chest.  She first howled softly and then slowly howled louder and louder.  Ben then quietly joined in.  He felt embarrassed at first, but then he didn’t care and just tried the best he could do.  Surprisingly, he howled extremely well.  As Sarah howled with Ben, in her head, she thought, “His howl, wow, it’s amazing.  The two howls matched perfectly.  Soon, the two duet howls rang across Jasper.  The other wolves heard, including Kate and Humphrey.  As soon as it reached Kate and Humphrey, they looked at each other and started to giggle.  They too started to howl and have been by far the best howls yet.  The rest of the wolves joined in.  All the howls combined created a huge echo across North America.  Soon, the howls slowly faded away.

          Meanwhile, there were several people hiding beneath the bushes watching the wolves.  They soon left after the howls were over.

Chapter 8:

          After the howls were over, both Ben and Tavixer had the same thoughts at the same time.

“This…feels amazing.  Being a wolf feels a lot better than my human life.  And howling with Katherine is…the best thing in the whole world,” thought Tavixer.

“Howling with wolves felt…great,” thought Ben.  Meanwhile, Katherine is wondering what Tavixer was doing.

“Uh, Tavixer, are you alright?” asked Katherine.

“Oh!  Yes, I’m fine,” said Tavixer.

“I…I want to ask you a question,” said Katherine, “Is it okay if you…well…sleep with me in my den?”

“Huh?  Why?” asked Tavixer.

“Oh, I just want to repay you for what you did for me today,” said Katherine.

“Oh, okay, sure, I guess, just tonight though,” said Tavixer.

“Thank you,” said Katherine softly.  She licked Tavixer’s cheek.  The two wolves then started to walk over to Katherine’s den.

          Meanwhile, Ben and Sarah already made it to Sarah’s den.  As soon as they entered in the den, Ben collapsed and fell asleep.  Sarah giggled at him and whispered softly in his ear.

“Thank you for today,” whispered Sarah.  She then nuzzled Ben’s cheek and slept right next to him.

          Back to Tavixer and Katherine, both of them made it to their den.  Tavixer then slept in the center.  As soon as he fell asleep, Katherine walked over to Tavixer and slept right next to him.  The night was quiet and the sound of nature was as peaceful as ever.

          The next morning, Tavixer yawned and rolled over to his left.  Katherine was sleeping on her right side of her body.  Both of their noses were touching each other.  Soon, the sun gleamed through the trees leaves, causing for both of the wolves to wake up.  The two were then surprised.

“Katherine, I uh, um,” said Tavixer unconfidently, “I have to go now, sorry.”

“But, Tavixer,” said Katherine in a surprised voice.  Tavixer then ran off.

“But…I liked it,” thought Katherine.  Tavixer then ran over to Kate and Humphrey’s den.

“Kate, I’m ready to get trained,” said Tavixer.

“Already?” said Kate in a surprised voice, “Okay then.”  She then gave a playful wink and his training began.  Kate trained Ben and Humphrey trained Tavixer.  Kate and Humphrey taught Ben and Tavixer how to hunt, do log rides, and snarl at their enemies.  They did a lot more stuff as well.  During their training, Katherine would often come by and wink at Tavixer, but often, he was busy training.  This made Katherine sad.

          Days passed and finally, Ben and Tavixer finished their training.

“Okay you two, both of your training are complete,” said Kate.

“You two can go and explore Jasper now,” said Humphrey.

“Hey dad, can we go to the plains and play for a little bit?” asked Zuki.

“Um, okay son.  You two can go now,” said Humphrey.

Ben and Tavixer both nodded their heads and left.

“Hey Tavixer, how’s Katherine been doing?” asked Ben.

“Um, I don’t know really,” said Tavixer.

“Why don’t you go and ask her to go out to the plains and just talk to her.  That’s what I would do if I were you,” said Ben.

Tavixer stopped walking for a moment while Ben continued walking.  Tavixer then looked at his body.

“I’m barely human now,” thought Tavixer, “Maybe I should just tell her that I can’t be here much longer.”

Chapter 9:

          Later, Katherine sits on the hill waiting for Tavixer to come.  He then comes up the hill with a flower.  Out in the distance, Humphrey and Zuki are playing together.

“Hey Tavixer!” yelled Kate happily.  He then chuckled and placed the flower in her fur as soon as he arrived to her.

“Thank you,” said Katherine, “Now, um; I don’t know how to start.  You know how everyone makes mistakes in life?  Well, if you do then-”

“Look,” said Tavixer, “We all have a choice to make.  I made a huge mistake that I can’t fix.”

“What is it?” she asked.

“I was afraid to tell this to you, otherwise you just might walk away,” he said.  The two sat there for a moment, doing nothing at all.  Finally, Katherine spoke up.

“Do you love me?” said Katherine anxiously.

“I….” said Tavixer hesitantly, “….don’t.”  He shook his head as a no and lowered his head down.

“You…don’t…” said Katherine softly.  She then has her head next to his ear.

“Nuzzle my nose,” she said softly and she leaned back to her original position.

“Nuzzle your nose?” he said softly and curiously.

“I need to know something,” she said, “Just one nuzzle.”  She then placed her right paw on top of his left paw.  The two then leaned closer and closer together, slowly.  They slowly closed their eyes.  Soon, Katherine’s eyes were completely closed and Tavixer’s eyes were almost closed.  Soon, time stopped all of a sudden.  Tavixer’s had widen out.  Just as Katherine’s nose was about to touch his, he heard a faint click out in the distance.  At that moment he leapt towards Katherine and grabbed, doing a barrel roll like turn in the air.  At the same time, gun fire started to pop away.  Humphrey, Zuki, Tavixer, and Katherine hid to the nearest hill.  Soon, many poachers with rifles, nets, and all other types of equipment came over the other side of the plains.  They started to charge all around the plains and running around like crazy people.

“We need to get out of here,” whispered Tavixer, “But I need to save Zuki.

“Okay,” said Katherine.  Both of them noticed that Humphrey and Zuki dashed off into the woods.

“Katherine,” said Tavixer, “Go and tell my friend Ben to meet me at the forest.”

“Okay,” said Katherine.  Tavixer then dashed off into the woods and followed Humphrey.  Katherine dashed off to find Ben.

Chapter 10:

          Soon, Tavixer finds Humphrey and Zuki.

“Hey Humphrey!” yelled Tavixer, “Wait up!”  Humphrey and Zuki stopped and turned around.

“Hey Tavixer,” said Humphrey, while panting for air, “The poachers are back.”

“Yeah, I know,” said Tavixer, “What the?  Look out!”  The saw a can full of tear gas, which blinded the three wolves.

“Dad!  Help me!” yelled Zuki.

“Where are you?” yelled Humphrey.  When the smoked cleared up, Zuki was gone.

“Oh no,” said Humphrey, “The poachers took him away!”  Soon, Kate, Ben, Sarah, and Katherine arrived.

“What happened, Humphrey?” asked Kate, “Where’s Zuki?”  Humphrey then lowered his head.

“The poachers took him away,” said Humphrey sadly.

“We couldn’t do anything,” said Tavixer, “They threw tear gas.  It blinded us.”

“No time to waste, we need to rescue him now!” cried Kate.  Ben and Tavixer found the poacher’s scent.  It lead straight to a small river.

“Kate,” said Tavixer, “Follow us, we found their scent.”  Kate nodded her head.  The six wolves traveled to the small river.  Across it was a small cabin.

“That’s odd,” thought Tavixer, “Why would the poachers go there?”  They saw a small bridge and crossed it with ease.  They soon entered inside the cabin.

Chapter 11:

          The six wolves searched around the cabin.  Kate and Humphrey instantly recognized the area.

“Hey Kate, remember this area?” asked Humphrey.

“I believe I do,” said Kate.  She found the poachers’ scent.  It led to a wall full of tools hanging.

“I know what to do here,” said Humphrey.  He went forward and pushed the little invisible button.  The door flung open and the six wolves entered in.

“Alright, let’s go,” said Tavixer, “Oh Humphrey, how in the world did you know where to push?”

“Oh, I’ll tell you later after when we rescue Zuki, now let’s go,” said Humphrey.  The six wolves walked downstairs.

“Let’s find the cage where Zuki is trapped in and get him out of there!” said Kate.  But as the wolves entered into the new room, there wasn’t any cages at all.  Instead, it was a lab.  There were scientists and poachers mixing potions together.  Zuki was on a table, tied up and unable to move.  They were wearing ear pieces.  They turned around and saw the six wolves.

“Ah, if it isn’t Ben and Tavixer,” said one of the poachers.

“Wait, how do you know us?” growled Ben.

“We figured out that you two are humans, only in the form as wolves,” said another poacher, “We spied you the whole time.”

“Alright boys, corner them,” said one of the scientists.  The poachers cornered the wolves to a wall.  Immediately, Ben pounced into the air and hopped on each of the poacher’s shoulders.  It knocked the poachers down, giving the six wolves to plan things out.

“Alright,” said Kate, “Tavixer and Ben, go and find some help.  The rest of us will take care of the poachers.”  Tavixer and Ben nodded their heads and went out of the cabin.  But just as soon as they started to run, they saw poachers surrounding them.

“Oh no,” thought Tavixer, “How in the world can we get help now?”  Just as all hope seems lost, they heard helicopters.  On the side of the helicopter, it shown read: Federal Bureau of Investigation, F.B.I.  Another helicopter read: Sector 7.

“Put your weapons down to the ground now!” yelled the head of the F.B.I. team.  The poachers did just that, but there was a couple people getting out of the cabin.

“Put your weapons down,” said one of the poachers to the F.B.I.  The poachers were holding Zuki and they have a gun pointed at him.  The rest of the poachers have their gun pointed at Kate, Humphrey, Katherine, and Sarah.  The F.B.I. released their weapons.

“No,” said Ben softly, “No!  I won’t let you win!”  He pounced at all of the poachers that have Kate, Humphrey, Zuki, Sarah, and Katherine hostage.  The poachers then aimed their gun at Ben and shot him.

“Ben!” yelled Sarah.  Kate, Humphrey, Sarah, and Katherine pounces on top of the poachers.  Tavixer pounces on top of another poacher, but the poacher manages to shoot Tavixer.  The F.B.I. grabs their weapons and points them at the poachers.

“You’re under arrest,” said the head of the F.B.I.  They tied up the poachers and brought them over to the helicopters.  Meanwhile, Ben was panting for air.  He was shot in the stomach multiple of times.  Sarah then dashed over to Ben.

“Ben,” cried Sarah.

“Don’t worry,” grunted Ben, “I’ll be fine.”  Soon, Katherine dashes towards Tavixer.

“Tavixer,” said Katherine sorrowfully.

“Look Katherine,” said Tavixer painfully, “In case if I leave this world…”

“You do love me,” she said while crying.

“I….do…” said Tavixer.  Katherine continues to cry.  Meanwhile, the same scientists that transformed Ben and Tavixer came to Katherine and Sarah.  They were wearing the ear pieces as well.

“Don’t worry you two,” said the first scientists, “Look here.”  The scientist poured some liquids on the open wounds of Ben and Tavixer.  Instantly, the wounds healed and Ben and Tavixer are back to normal health.

“Ben and Tavixer,” said another scientist, “We need to talk to you two for a moment in private.”  The two wolves followed the three scientists.

“The government has given us permission to turn you two back to humans,” said one of the scientists.  Both Ben and Tavixer were shocked.

“We tracked you down and you helped us find the poacher’s secret spot, which cannot be found on radar,” said another scientist, “But anyways, we thank you.  Once when you’re ready, we can inject you with this potion and turn you both back to humans.  We even have spare clothes for you two to wear.”  Soon, Sarah and Katherine walked towards Ben and Tavixer.  Both Ben and Tavixer looked at Sarah and Katherine.

“We would love to turn back to humans, but I think we both would love to stay as wolves,” said Tavixer.  Ben nodded his head.

“If that’s the case, then, okay,” said one of the scientists.  Both Katherine and Sarah’s faces turned into smiles.  Ben nuzzled Sarah and Tavixer nuzzled Katherine.  The three scientists hopped back onto the helicopter.  “Good luck with your new life now,” said one of the scientists.  The helicopters left, leaving the wolves behind.

Chapter 12:

          The wolves traveled back to their dens.  They laughed and had a great time while walking back to the dens.  Soon, it was evening and the wolves were getting ready to go to bed.  Ben and Tavixer are ready to face a whole new world with their new lives.
